Property Tax Collection
First Installment or Payment in Full

Second Installment
Due July 31Make check payable to: Chippewa County Treasurer
Mail to the Chippewa County Treasurer's office.
Important: Please send the "First Installment/Payment in Full" stub with your tax payment. This information is listed on your tax statement.
Late Payments: If you are paying your taxes late, please mail them to Chippewa County Treasurer as the Town of Arthur will not be able to process them.
Verify Your Check: Writing the check to the wrong entity, for the wrong amount, or sending it to the wrong address may result in your payment being returned or processed as delinquent.
NO receipts will be mailed without a self-addressed stamped envelope included.
Please mail CHECK or MONEY ORDER to the correct address with the correct payment stub.
- Over payments will be refunded after the next Board meeting
- Under payments will be charged late fees

Dog Licenses
All dogs in the Town of Arthur over the age of 5 months are required to be licensed.
Wisconsin State Statute 174.07(1)(b) requires evidence that the dog is currently immunized against rabies. Please refer to Wisconsin State Statutes Chapter 174 for any other information concerning dog licenses and dog ownership.

Important: A rabies certificate must be included with your application. If you send the original certificate, it will be returned to you along with your dog license and tag. Please enclose a separate payment for your dog license.
Town Constable

The Town Constable handles dogs only. All efforts will be made to find the owner of any dog that is picked up. If the owner cannot be found, the animal will be re-homed.
Stray cats, cows, horses, and other animals are handled by the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office.
